you guys said the header would take a half hour, so i forecasted 4. not even close ....
i just spent the whole day making that shit happen and it's not even done yet. every damn bolt on my 01 zx3 was rusted in place. the ones connecting the cat and stock flexpipe rusted so bad they stripped and we had to hack saw that bitch.
everything is connected except a few of the bolts that go to the block from the new header, and that weird large bolt on the end of that piece which runs in right near the block, which is a bitch to get to connect, anyone have any suggestions? i'm not sure if i should start the car yet either so we just rolled it into the driveway, and i'm waiting til everythings tightened.
big day for my car though, new rims on, new headlights, new sidemarkers, she's lookin' dark!
big public thank you to sucka again for the lip - it'll be painted soon!
1/2 hour my ass - skhighlighn header / flexpipe install

You can drive it. It will just be loud as hell and lack a bit of power, nothing you'd notice just moving it around.
Rusty bolts = sucks.
For that bolt, try a ratcheting wrench or else a ratchet with an extension.

Your header only has one o2 bung? Mine has 2 for both sensors, but I sitll run the cheater because of the excess amount of exhaust throws a code. Since you only have one, my advice would be, throw a cheater into the mix then.

tip: use a torch on tough bolts to heat them, along with gobs of PB spray (wont worry, it's not flamable) You should be able ot handle about antyhign with that combo.

Yep thats how it always goes. I guess I'd just unclip the o2 that isn't being used and zip tie the clip out of the way so it doesn't rub on the header and melt, haha.
