If you're looking at a shelter or pet store. for a kitten that had its shots and been clipped... it gonna be around $100.
So for free, and then getting that done, it kind of evens out overall.
But no one can go wrong with a free kitten! 8)

Ok, I have a mancoon male 1yr old and a russian blue female 3 yr old. the mancoon is almost twice the size of the russian blue. its all in the breen. he is well trained and happy. kittens are better in the long run, because you can train them to fit with your family and surroundings. adults from shelters are herder to get to adapt. I understand the situation and i hope it works out for you, but honestly, i'd go for the kitten.
