Can the 00-04 cars be upgraded to the 06+ tierods if both the inner and outers are replaced? Are there any modifications necessary to the rack?

uhhhhh why? in my 10 years of working on cars i have seen 2 seperate times a focuse rod end go loose. they normally bend the tie rod or the ball joint may go loose( ive only replaced 3 in my life) and i dont think the popping is from a rod end unless its soooo loose its about to come apart. matter of fact, i just swapped my zx3 rack out for a svt one and i used the inners and outers that came with my car, i took off the tie rod assembly and swapped it to the svt unit, thats right, the rods have around 150-160k on then and still tight.hafftrak wrote:In reference to this thread:

A friend asked me if I wanted a frozen banana, I said "No, but I want a regular banana later, so Yeah."
