from what i learned from the kid( super genuiss) at work is that the 3.1, 3.3,3.4 are like the same motor , i think, and maybe the 3.8 im not sure, but yes the intake gaskets are as common as the ford 3.8 anf 4.0 intake leaks, and the s-10s need a 5000 mile ball joint maintance like the rangersFORDSVTPARTS wrote: My neighbors 3800 had a bad intake gasket, He has a friend that's a GM tech and it's apparently quite common on the 3800.
