This is from my work in eden praire. I have no idea what ISP my work uses but I believe we just upgraded the fastest internet line you could get. My minds drawing a blank in what they hooked up.

I'm thinking its T1 but it could be T3. Nobody sitting next to me at work can seem to remember what was instaled.
I'm no computer guru what is latecny?

Basically latency is the time it takes your connection to get a response from a server or device on the internet once that conneciton is established. The lower the latency the better it is for gaming and voice over IP calls, and video conferencing.
Also MARS: I'd call comcast, something is seriously wrong there. By default you should be getting at least 6megs (6000kbps) downloads with their basic service.

back in the day my dsl back home would get slower and slower and slower with time, very noticeably
a good ol reinstallation of windows always fixed that

i got a pretty decent computer a year old or so.... so it could be the modem or other crap that comcast hooked up on the pc for me...... i'm happy wit it thou.....

Wireless 100% upload and download (Xtratyme) and only pay ~$40 a month.
