Alright so the 2000 Intake is finally on but the good old belt won't go on...anyone have any advice?

I tried moving the pulley up to put it on but there is not enough slack.

Do you have a book with a belt routing picture? Its very easy to screw it up, especially when you are trying to put everything together and not really paying attention to the belt.

Your alternator still isn't groved into the slot correctly. You need to loosen the bolts and wiggle it a bit more till it really 'slams' into place. That's why your belt wont fit right now.
