what?!?!?!? neither the Skyline OR the Vette are overrated at all. The Corvette has been called the best value car GM makes, because it is unbelievable fast, and SO inexpensive, compared to its competitors

Sorry Alan, but "the best that GM makes" don't mean shit. Considering GM. The worst of most companies is better then GMs best. And thats a proven fact!!
Hell, even my beater pulled on a Corvette on 494, with 3 people in there.

Any Ferrari built before the mid '70's would get my vote.
Really though '62 GTO gets my vote on the Ferrari front.
Although now you have me thinking and a D Jag is soooooo sexy.

these cars were suppose to be everyday drivers, that was the question, i would never drive a 1962 250 TR, old gto, or ferrari, any cars that old should not be daily drivers, those should be kept as mint as possible! but back to the original question i would have to say either a cossi escort, or one of the new audi rs4's (fucking amazing!)

yeah, if i could have my dream car, and it had to be new it would be a RS4

or an atom from arieal..look it up, it spanked a cbr600r by 4 seconds on the top gear road corse. i also have vid of it on my myspace. 0-60 in 2.5 seconds and its a car, it has four wheels and a trunk.

or a tvr cerbea . the most badass sounding inline 6 youl ever hear!!!

does the atom actually have a trunk? (I thought the engine was back there)
and as far as inline sixes go, I like how my dad's Austin Healey sounds, and I am sure Steve's Dad's Big Healey sounds amazing

Baddest sounding six ever? Try this on for size.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1qcxu6A6qLM and yes thats what my dads car sounds like. NAAASSSSTYYY
BTW- the shark fin was supposed to help straight line stability, It was the dark ages after all.
As for the ultimate daily driver? Honestly if I had blower and slightly better tires/suspension I wouldn't need anything beyond my SVT. It's not bad the way it is either.
