Where did you get your kit from? I know that when I got mine there were only 5-6 of them left at dealerships across the US.
From an ebay store called Bones Enterprises, one of the things they do is buy and sell old inventory from dealerships. I originally posted that I paid around 150-200 for my kit but actually after revisiting the site (It had been a bit over a year, and well you know how fish grow as fish stories age) I recall paying 299.00 plus shipping for the Infra Red/Vermillion kit, they recently had/may still have a black kit for sale for 399.00 (ZX3). When I purchased mine they had a black kit going for the same price, unsure of why the black is more expensive except maybe they paid more for it or black is just more popular and can garner more $$. They also have/had a sedan kit in primer and it is/was going for 249-299 range, they state that it is an "SVT" kit and they post the part numbers but the part number posted did not match any SVT kit numbers and pointed to just the rear fascia if I remember. As always buyer beware, know what your buying and always ask questions.
Does your skirt have the threaded stud at the front that bolts through the front fender?
If that pulled out I could see why it would start to come apart. I think the best thing to do would be to remove the skirt, inspect the holes the keepers go into to make sure they haven't rusted increasing the diameter of the holes making the keepers less effective. I drilled my holes at .360" and the keepers require quite a rap and make a definite "pop" when they insert. I would say that the holes shouldn't be any larger than .375 to .394 and that is only a guess. You could try new keepers and new tape making sure everything is clean on install. Steve could probably get you the parts.
Good Luck,
