My buddy got that whistle with this Gatorback immediately after he put it in his car... Me on the other hand I've never noticed any noise from it on my car whatsoever. I do agree that those belts just make noise or something

The noise did go a way a bit after I replaced the idler so I think that was part of it, It's kind of cool though. Sounds like FI for next to no cost, of course theres no performance gain from the belt either

And I thought you were threading the 3/8 in there, which the hole is a metric thread. My Haynes manual told us how to make one ourself. Possibly a M8 bolt? Or M10? I'm not sure, but I know it was metric and we couldn't find one the right length of thread, so it got some material added to the end.
