Because in the registration it asks what your ride is and I said SVT Focus.
This was the response I got to the last message I sent the guy.
"I would say a focus RS is a european car, a focus zx3 I would say probably not. I approved your membership, try not to start a IS THIS A EURO car type war/thread thing.
thanks!

I'm sorry but this guy really comes across as a dick. "O.K. we'll let you come in and look around as long as you don't pretend to be as good as us"
I might be taking it the wrong way but it's not a real warm fuzzy welcome.

If it helps at all, the site owner said he actually considered buying a SVT Focus once, and I did buy my beater from his wife.

Like I said, maybe I was over reacting.
I guess my taste in cars runs like my taste in music, I like everything from bluegrass and classical to rockabilly and heavy metal.
I'm the same way with cars, I don't care if it's American, Japanese or European. If it's a cool car, it's a cool car. I'm not going to look down on someone just because they drive a different car than I do.
The early U.S. Foci were very European as is the SVT if you ask me, besides being a far nicer car than the price and reputation would lead a person to believe. I guess I'm preaching to the choir here but I'm proud of my car and I'd put it up against most anything in it's class and many above it on a windy road or road course.

How bout I change it to, "wish I had a focus"?

Would that be better?
SVTF ftw
I'm beginning to see why they noticed the abundance of Focus owners, They only have a little over 400 members so when 30-40 sign up in a week they probably notice

Thats how it always is... you guys know what I deal with now. Kris is a nicer person compared to the Volksport crew... eurowerks was the friendliest site out of all of them, but I've heard from many people he's really VW-headed. He's always welcoming people to join him, ect kicked out and banned members for showing up to a cruise with alcohol, he does good things, but sometime he does come off as hard headed. I don't care though don't even take it to heart. VW people and VW lovers are some wierd ass people
