at least, that's what I've been told.
I just went out to swap these around and found my memory is worse than my mechanic skills. ...as I HAD installed them with the tighter coils to the top. I re-torqued all the bolts to spec again, but the mysterious noises continue.
I'm still wishing there was some Suspension Specialist I could take this to.
Thanks again fro everyone whose put some thought into my dilemma here.
bring it to me young padawan learner. i have papers saying that im a susp. tech(ase) other wise get a set of chassis ears and go to town.
Exactly what plates are you running? Do you have the SPC plates? Or something else?
I'm using the SPC adj camber plates. After installing my coilovers, I'm actually having a clunking noise as well, but I think its more of the spring, and not the camber plates. I'm gonna double check everything tommorow...

Are you busy next Wed night?
I'm using the SPC Performance Focus front camber/caster kit
I used to work at a Firestone service center, they will usually do free inspections. Just tell them you have a clunk in the front end. Since you have aftermarket parts they maynot look for a real long time, but they should be able to point you in the right direction. I recommend the maplewood store, cause I know the guys there do quality work. Goodluck
In case anyone is still looking at this, and for future reference in our database here:
The shaking was caused by not having "hubcentric rings" on my wheels. So take note. Those are important. The cars has never rolled so smooth now that I have them on.
The noise has to be coming from the camber adjustment plates. I'll probably just install the stock ones as the adjustable ones are almost at zero, and therefore not needed for everyday driving. Though I hate to lose the ability to adjust the camber if I want to take it to a track.
Thanks for all the advice.

glad you got that figured out anyways.
If they're aftermarket wheels, they often need the rings, unless you want lug-centric...Which is generally bad.
