f that lil pile!!!! its to small and ford of north america will just find a way to cheapen in a few years just like the foci. in 99 the focus was full fat, then oh whered the under hood mat go? whered the side trim go? oh whered the solid feel go? trust me this lil ford is better off in europe. im bitter, yeah they are giving europe and north america the same focus now, but its not the current focus and its not the last gen focus, so how do they think there gonna make it up to us? do we get an rs?....never, our last real good focus was a rebadged st with a cossie engine. i got a chance to drive a s40 t5 awd with some mods done to it and im pissed!!!! that volvo 5 cyl is the sex. but oh well im just gonna get a new hyundia.

trust me, back when i worked on just fords i felt and seen how they would cheapen them as time went on. the 99 was an eye opening small car, it was light years ahead of the escorte and contour. by 02 they had all the bugs worked out and the focus we all know and love was a rock solid platform that made all other car companies rub there eyes and try harder. look at the honda si hatch...hmmm looks oddly simalar to the focus, and they steped up there performance. toyota...hmmmmm what came first the focus or the matrix? nissan..... versa? the only hot hatch that was worth a damm before the focus was a volksvagen oh sorry the citation x was a damm good car. but its the times now and i know it goes in cycles, but still, i was a chev guy back in high school in the iroc days, then i wisened up and got a ford truck( wich they cheappend up,sorry the 97-98 ranger was the last bad ass small truck ford made) then i fell in love with the focus and now ford has givin up on the little guy again. they what had a good amout of actual perf parts in the fomoco fer like 3-4 years then oh were gonna focus are time and money on the mustang ,cus the dushe bags need some car to drive too. soo if this up and coming focus platform is some watered down pleabian snooze mobile then f-em i aint that old, i still like to have fun. and as the fistiva goes, good luck, even the fit is up sizing this year.
