Not in mine. I was able to turn the bolt in the nut, but the bolt is frozen in the steel sleeve in the bushing. No go without destroying that bushing and bolt.

I'm not even going to try to remove any rear suspension bolts, I don't want to buy control arms.
mine came right out, course i had all of 20 k on the odometer when i did mine at work,on the clock 8)

don't, under any circumstances, EVER touch that bolt. I had to buy a new control arm when I tried to do mine

Yeah, but the point is that most people don't have the tools on hand or the mechanical ability to do it that way.

I could do it that way but guess what, I'm old and I've learned over the years to do these jobs by taking the path of least resistance.

I just try to help people avoid the problems associated with these tasks.

Wait, you're in your 30's and you're saying I'm 13 years older than you?

Thats nice, make me older than I am, I'm the only one allowed to call me old 8)

I just turned 41 if it makes you feel any worse

I got out of full time wrenching when I was in my late 20's, I actually miss it sometimes. If I could get a job working on the cars I like working on I'd quit this gig in a heartbeat.
