So if that is true then they are not a bi-halogen projector ... right?

Xenons are just like Machs. They also have the Celis light strip as this is part of the design for the line. The Xenons also have a blinker that is an exposed bulb which sits in the separate cavity which houses the Celis light strip. So you will not directly see and exposed/lensed blinker like the Machs. The diffused area on each side of the Celis strip is designed (as the lens) to diffuse the blinker.
The Dynabeams are halogens. The low projectors swivel, controlled by a gyro. So the projectors are not fixed. They actually move.
Check this out:
Here's the YouTube search page:

and the Hella Dynabeam web site:

Hope this helps.

I did read all the linked and threads I could find Chalon. Where my confusion stemmed from was you'd mentioned the Dynabeams being bi-halogen on the FJ group buy page. That really threw me. Was thinking, as where others by the looks of it, that the DB lights where a hi/low projector while the Xenon projectors where low only.
Either way you'll only get a HID low beam, assuming you retro the DB's for HID.

The importer says they are bi-halogen. I realize this brings into question the use of the H7 bulbs in bi-halogen projectors. I can tell you the bulb housing hole is not a standard set up as it includes a separate retaining clip. While I do not have a way to verify, this may be why the bi-halogen socket can house the H7.
I have not been able to find any information about the projectors myself. I have tried to verify the importers information, unsuccessfully. So all I have to go off of is the information he has provided. I am going to dig further.
And yes, no matter what the projector, the Dyna's will need an after market HID kit to upgrade.

mach HIDs ftw
Mach HIDs are phenomenal lights but new ones are $635.00 each with my discount and list for over $900.00 each and finding good used ones is extremely difficult these days.
The Hellas Hotrodwagon is promoting seem like a fantastic option to me.
