15x6.5? Seriously? Don't get me wrong, its a nice looking wheel, but not a size I'd even consider, esp for my summer wheels.

Never said you wer autoxing. 15"s are a tiny wheel for a Focus.
If you shop around, you can get performance 16" tires for under $250

We'll see how I like the style. Worst comes to worst i'll turn around and sell them for 300+shipping on FF, and pick up a set of 16" gold slips over summer.

Just do it now...before you get banned on FF. I guarntee you won't like the 15s on there.mnfocusS wrote:We'll see how I like the style. Worst comes to worst i'll turn around and sell them for 300+shipping on FF, and pick up a set of 16" gold slips over summer.
From a performance stand point, the 15's will be lightweight sure, they are tiny. But most performance tires are going to be a small profile tire typically, unless you get big balloon tires. If you run the smaller tires, its really gonna jack around your highway gearing. You'll be doing 4,000rpm just going 65-70. If you do the bigger taller tires, its gonna comprise the handling, its gonna feel like your driving on marshmellows, and you'll lose the quick handling your gaining from the suspension.

we'll see how I like it first. mounting and balancing is free for me, and tires are usually cheap to free also if I can find them...
