...he was the one with the money, he stripped the parts from the car, he hauled it, he stored it, he set the plan in motion....I bet you show up and offer him less and have cash he would bite, he seems flexible and besides, he can't hang onto it forever.

Not trying to start a fight, but, he was the one that took the inititive and made it happen, no one else wanted to step up to the plate and take a swing.

he also ended up wanting to do it too soon imo, not everyone was ready (I still have the brake kit), and he himself said the next day he was strapped for cash

hay !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! im not trying to profit any thing , granted if done right it could be a money maker, but my origianl plan is to try to make most of my 800 back not all!!! and scotty is mostly corect, i sat for a month giving every one time to hoo-hum wit there fingure up der arss, my trans took a crap!!!! and this was the most economical choice. now , zurno is a nice guy and fronted the money for the brakes, so it is up to him who gets those, and for how much.. and yes i did pay for the gas to haul the car, i got the trailer, i got the place to store it and yes im gonna let my friend smash it wit his monster truck( to wich you are all invited  ) i did strech my self thin so the prices were set for some wheelin and dealin for the club members, only, but for the general public those are the prices. a sun roof goes for like 700 bucks brand new, and the one i got in the car works and is undamaged, so the price is fair. the rear bumper is easily fixed and goes for like 300 brand new, plus it needs to be painted any ways for any other color than blue. the side skirts, same deal , im actually gonna fix them to day at work and if it turns out good im gonna up the price!!. the prices set on the car are not only for the part, they are set to incompus the labor of pulling and fixing to be used. now i let zurno pull some parts to sell for him self or ues for him self, he had to cover his side of the deal, if trama was ther he could of pulled some parts for him self, i took three days and stripped the car down to the shell with hand tools in the heat of the day, and then went to work or worked and then stripped the car till sun set, so i feel that the prices are ok. and i dont know what tramas origanal plan of action was but im going off my own, i dont want profit, and if any profit is seen, like i said origanly, it should be spit among the buyers(zurno and myself ,as far as i know) and then if there is any left over it should profit the club in some manner or another.. i do not want to step on toes, i dont like sturing shit, and my intentions are not moniterily drivin, i just wanted the drive line. im sorry if any of my fellow members feel cheated or lied to, but i never once lied, matter of fact i posted exactly what i was gonna do and said that im gonna move fast and if you didnt keep up it was not my fault, i still got parts, i still have not started on the swap, once the swap starts ( this weekend) the parts are going on the market.... now dont frett cus i will be selling some parts from my car( no scotty the hatch is not for sale) but i will have an exhaust and header and some other crapp... so keep wit me and all will be good

the fact of the matter is, the goal wasn't for anyone to get anything for free. what you're working at is to get your swap for free which is admirable except for the fact that you didn't find the car. That's the part that upsets me. The goal of the car, and why it was posted was so we could get a car and save EVERYONE money, not get anyone parts for free. Had that been the case, Zurno and I could have worked the prices so neither of us had to pay a dime.

Yes what you're doing is fine, you paid for the majority of the car. In my opinion though, ethically you're screwing the club over to a degree. See it however you want, Zurno and I had plenty of conversations about the car before hand and how we were going to try to reduce the cost for everyone without the intent of making profit. By selling more, we'd reduce what everyone is paying, not just for specific people. That was the reason we were waiting to have money from everyone and not just buy it outright. We didn't know what people would be paying.

For the power window/lock swap, anyone that is doing it, you need to get the rubber part with the wires in it that goes between the door to the car and the plug that plugs into the car side. Good luck getting the plug out of the car, but, again, rob is stripping it so it should be easy.

You will need the plug that plugs into the car and need to run wires for it. If you got a ford shop manual and some time, you could prob wire it in like the factory would have. I have the shop manual on DVD, I'd prefer a paper back to the DVD, at least then you can flip thru it and highlight shit.
