Well oddly enough after posting that WTB this afternoon I got a call from my girlfriend. She blew her headgasket So, we decided to sell the car or donate it and start over, as we don't have the drive or time to fix it.

So:


1995 Contour GL
Tan
2.0L Zetec, Auto
144k mi.

Good:
The body is in EXCELLENT condition along with the interior
The auto tranny is working great, no slips or grinds
The engine could be fixed but was burning oil before she blew, would be a good transplant car.
New Front Brakes Pads
New Radiator
Pretty good tires
Stock Cassete/Radio Installed!

Bad:
Blown headgasket
No A/C condensor (had a dent in it, lines are just capped) A/C would work with a new condensor and a recharge
A small crack in the front bumper (not very noticeable)
A small dent on the hood






$600 OBO

Chassis would need a tow.

focinite should buy it and put his svt motor/trans in it.

if anyone is interested in this car to fix, I have a spare zetec out of a zx2 (has VCT that would somehow have to be worked around) with 65k miles on it out of a wrecked car, unknown condition of the engine, or just fix the one that is in the car, lol

I wouldnt want too horribly much fo rthat engine

I'm sure focinite was drunk when he wrote that, and I was a little tipsy when I replied, so alcahol might be the magic elixer that allows someone to understand focinites drunk ramblings...

So... BAck on topic. We need this gone. It would be an easy moeny maker. New engine is less than $200, car is great other than that. They sell for 2k plus!I just don't have the room or time to do a swap or I would.
