Finally got the rims one I bought a couple months back from a fellow mnfocus'er. And finally got around to ordering the tires. So, finally some updated pics of the Contour. Not alot else done to it. I added the Mercury Mystique sail panels. Which, if you don't even look for them, you won't see them. But I notice this stuff. And fixed my lic. plate finally, so I can rock my FJ frame...

The wheels still have that white crap all over them from being mounted. But I was so excited, I had to get pictures...

How much did it run you to get the wheels re-coated? I think it was you that said something about getting them done...

Powdercoating only cost 200$. Thats after beadblasting as well. I also had my Mustang Fuel door powdercoated gloss black as well at the same time.

200$ isn't too horribly bad...any warranty on the coating against chipping? I wonder if that black would match my zx3...

Not that I'm aware of. But I'm sure if I went in there, and said they were chipping, I think they would prob redo them for me. The coating is pretty thick.
They have acouple different blacks. I just went with this cuz that the first one I picked up, and he had the most of this color.

BTW, did you ever get those secondaries to open? Also, what are sail panels?

Huge improvement on the stock Contour wheels. Makes me want to get mine coated black.

Yeah, I got them to work. I bought a 10$ clip from Ford to do it. While putting it on, I lost the dang thing. So I got pissed and just ziptied the rod on.
The sailpanels are those little black things behind the back windows. Normally they say "Contour" on them. But mine are blank now.
