How fast is everyones internet connection? I remember the days when I thought 48.8 was fast

I think mars was on a work connection, or dorm or a whole building setup. There is no ISP in Minnesota that is that fast. Comcast with their 10meg service that I am getting is about as fast of a residential service I've seen to date, other than Verizion's FIOS, unless mars lives in that extremely small area in Richfield or Hastings that has Fiber to the curb.
