Hey,

Does anyone know someone who could weld in the Magnaflow resonator I just bought for a good price?

The places I called quoted me at 80-100 dollars and for that price I would just return the one I got and get a Focus Sport one

I would love to avoid returning it, HELP!

Call 'The Muffler Shop' in Hudson, WI.

They have given me good prices for stuff in the past. Top notch work also.

Tell them you have the resonator, all you need is the pipe cut and it welded in.

P.S. How easy is your exhaust to take out? If you could just drop the exhaust off (already pulled off the car) it would make it WAY cheaper. Right now you are just paying labor rates to pull the exhaust.

I went into the exhaust shop in Hudson today and was going to have my Magnaflow resonator put in but when the guy checked it out it was too big to fit. I was a little upset but he was able to put in one of the resonators he had in the stop for 75 dollars including install. Now that is cheap since the Magnaflow cost me 90 dollars. Damn C-F-M, I sent them an email telling them I want to return it and get my shipping money back since it didn't fit and they claimed it did.

At least my car sounds good again. No buzzing in the upper rpms so I am happy!

Why did'nt it fit? Was the opening/exiting too big? To large of a canister? Too long?

It was too large of a canister, He said he could install it but it would rattle on the heat shield.

I woulda told him:

"Hey, Bitch-Cams, get your damn hammer out, pound alittle on the heat shield. And I want it done in an hour, or I'll have to put my shoe up your ass, and show your insides some style."
