Bent rim :(

I spent some time this weekend cleaning up the set of SVTC wheels I picked up a few months back. I discovered a small indentation on the inside rim of one of the wheels. It's maybe 2" in length max, making the rim just slightly out of round. The wheel itself appears to be just fine. The bead area appears unphased.
Since I have not had a tire on it/drove on the wheel to know if it's a problem, does anyone have any experience with this? Does what I am describing sound like something I should bother with...or should I have it checked out?

is it the inside lip that is bent if so it shouldnt be a problem have a tire mounted and if it leaks use a dead blow hammer to bend it back untill it stops leaking then run her.

they are (i think) near where CleanZX3 does or used to work, I had a bent, cracked wheel, that I was able to get fixed, repaired, they did a great job and are reasonably priced.

Slap a tire on it and see what happens, if it vibrates when it's on the front try it on the rear.
One of my old five spokes got bent and I never knew it until I rotated tires.

alright. its not a problem, if it is a bit wiggly put it on the right rear. if you need to bend it back, use a soft 2x4 and a hammer( use the wood as a dowel) but remember alum dosent like to bend more than once.

The ole man pouned out flat spots on my old rims on my Talon. They turned out pretty good. Could'nt even tell they'd been hit.
