Anybody interested in a system for their car? I am thinking of going back to stock. equipment is as follows:

Deck: Alpine CDA-7894 (60x4 max, 27x4RMS, 3 sets of 4-volt pre-outs, time correction built in, adjustable tilt, remote control) $400MSRP

Front Stage: Alpine Type X Components. $400MSRP. fantastic sounding speakers with customizable crossover. will include door mounting for those w/o power windows/locks (see pics)

Subwoofer: Boston Acoustics Competitor 2ohm 12" in 1.0 cu ft sealed enclosure (will include a second subwoofer for additional $40, I have 3 of them) $280MSRP

Sub Amp: Rockford Fosgate 700s 350x2@2ohms. $450 MSRP I only use a single channel to run the sub, adding a second sub is no problem at all.

All wiring will be included as well as the harness for the deck AND the dash mounting system. System runs 4-gauge then splits to dual 8gauge before the amplifier, w/ dual 8-gauge grounding.

Everything sounds fantastic together. it's not an extreme system, it's more of an SQ setup with the option of turning it up from time to time. so far these subs have not let me down. the speakers have about 1.5 years left on the 2-year warranty through ultimate electronics. I can install everything at an additional charge. power wire will be run through the firewall, power and RCA's run down separate sides, everything done right.
looking for $450 cash. or $400 if you throw in your 05+ 6-cd changer stock head unit I paid OVER $1,200+taxes to put all of this together over the years. You won't be let down.

(it's not this setup, but it's one of these subs and the same amp/wiring)

looks like a good deal, too bad I don't need it, want it too bad, or be able to afford it.
