big three wire upgrade on duratec foci?

Anybody done it yet? The alternator looks like it has a plastic shield over it. How do you get it off? I'm sure I can figure it out, I'm just looking for tips to make the install easier.

You need a special tool, a BFH.
Actually I don't know crap about it. Who are you anyway, i think i have met you.

It makes a difference on a Zetec, I'm sure it would'nt hurt on the Dura...
