I don't really care too much about getting in "trouble", They obviously have no respect for anything they don't think is "Euro".

I just can't stand people that think that way.

I can appreciate cars from anywhere, a well done car is a well done car and a poorly done car is a poorly done car.

Doesn't matter if it's American, European or Asian.

If they want to ban me let them, I doubt that I'll visit the site agan unless it's to respond to that thread assuming they don't delete it for offending their beliefs.

Still arguing over the "euroness" of the Ford Focus. They're just jealous ;)

Steve it's pretty obvious which one is you when you post "My SVT," and a picture of your car  I don't think you said anything that should get your post deleted or the thread locked (other than the thread is just full of drama)

LOL, our cars are just as much euro as a Jetta. They were both made in Mexico for a period of time. Both designed over in europe.

Most of the euro haters of the Focus are the people that don't realize that the Focus was designed and originally built in europe. But its not euro because the manufactor is actually a domestic brand.

It would be simlilar to Honda designing a car in America. then sending it over to Japan. It might be a big thing over there since its 'American'. But everyone over there will know its a Honda, is actually a domestic brand over there...

Not sure if any of this is making sense...it sounded better in my head...but my bottome line is, I give up convincing people the Focus has a euro blood type to it. They will think what they want to think...

It's only half of the people on there with that attitude, the other half are cool.

The site owner is definately in the camp of if it's Ford then it's domestic.

That thread has long since been in the hall of shame.

I don't want my Mexican car to be thought of as Euro. We kicked enough Euro ass back in the day. Didn't we have a war with Germany or something a while back? Why would I want to be associated with an ass kicking? And didn't we have a little skirmish with Japan too? Yeah, my car was designed in a country that got their asses handed to them because the American designed war machines were better.

Actually Germany's machines were not bad. It was more of the resources we could pull together.

1 word "A-bomb".....nuff said. (okay so it was a German scientist that helped develop it here, we still had it when no one else did)

I'm more annoyed at the general lack of respect the Focus gets over there, I could care less about being Euro.

I'm also pretty sure my last two posts will get me banned which is quite allright, I don't knwo if anyone noticed but Zurnos catching some heat and he's being about as offensive as dry white toast.
