so about a week back i was noticing it was getting hard to shift again, so i looked at the master ,no leaks, away we go.
two days ago i was driving home from a bad,bad day at work(after ten years of working on cars, i finally own a engine that aint mine)i went to down shift and SNAP!!! the clutch pedal slams to the floor im trying to clutch a nothing so i can get out of gear to stop and avoid creeping through the deadlist intersection(hwy 10 and greenhaven road)so i turn off the car, you ever heard a engine at 5k in the off position?, and yank it out of gear. i push the bat-mobile into the micky dees and peek under the dash. i wish i had pics but i dont. there is a stud that is perpindicular to the pedal that clips into the clutch master, it is welded in one spot, that weld broke....you know i have had more welds break on this car than a normal person should( this is where you insert yer joke about me not being normal steve). got er welded and we are doing fine. removing that pedal with out removing the seat sucks.
