So, i've finally found money to fund a drop (thanks taxes!) and I'm wanting to know what is the BEST bang for your buck? I've been looking into the H&R cup kit, but dam is it expensive. What else is all out there for full kits? Lower the better, cheaper the better, but I don't want to sacrafice quality.

The FRPP 1.5" is what I have in mine it rides great for a DD.

Yea, and 1,100.00 for coil overs makes me want to CRY.

BTW, this will be for an '07.

I'm thinking a set of Eibach Sportlines, and i'm still searching for new shocks/struts... Thoughts?

FRPP is only a 1.5 inch drop. I don't think that that is enough for what I want. I'm hoping for a bigger drop than that.

Maybe the frpp and eibachs would work well together?

look up a company called SPAX, they make very affordable kits also i like the drop zone springs i got( 80 bucks shipped cant beat it) matched with the svt kit from C.F.M for like 295.00 the springs are a progressive coil so the more you push it the firmer the spring gets.

I can't find SPAX for USDM 07's, or sold in the US for that matter.

How much are you looking to spend?

Right now I have it prices at:

$221.31 for Sportline Springs
$195.00 for the FRPP Performance Damper kit.

I have a 1.75" Rousch on my 05' I know you want a sig. drop but if you have to use this car as a daily driver and in the winter i wouldn't suggest over a 1.75. They don't make the 1.75" anymore by rousch as far as i know. But mine is a DD and in the winter, if i had a 2 on my car i think i'd scrap on speed bumps and by sol in the winter. That's my 2 cents. Don't go too low. Really think about 2" or higher if yo go that route.

You can't go low and cheap.... at least if you ever hope to have a car that handles halfway decently and doesn't ride like shit.

Plus don't forget the added expense to a sever drop. Once you hit that 2" drop mark, you NEED Camber Plates, Camber Bolts, etc. etc.

Plus don't forget a full alignment.

And, on about 1/2 the cars we drop, the bearings on the rear control arms seize and the arms need to be completely replaced, which costs a few hundered bucks.

You can't just buy spring and struts with this car, for an aggressive drop. It just doesn't work that way. To get as low as I wanted, I have almost 2 grand into JUST my suspension.

Ryan if I were you I would just start with the basic's and get a 1.5-1.75 drop for the time being.

My ZX5 with the FRPP w/stock wheels looks like poo but when I put my TD's on there it looks so much better. I never did get pictures of it with them on there though
