well, today was the first rallyx of the season... meh. i was disappointing with the track and my tires on the track (half gone blizzaks in front, factory
size shit tires in back). car performed as usual....
the track was all icey mud with bout 1-4 inches of soup on top. first run spun out but stayed off the cones and recovered quick. second was ok.
third was after lunch and the track turned to shit. ruts, holes, and more melt. so the 3rd run i was getting pulled all over and ate like 6 cones.
last one i didn't care. 6th out of 9 in class, 25th out of 35 overall (lots of subies).

lot of subes getting stuck off the track and a couple 2wd. i went off once but did my hardest and got back on. got really muddy and it was fun.

going to finish post get something to drink and go spray it off, put HL bulbs, and cruise back in and sit around for a bit, feet are SOAKED!

Man, that looks like fun.

everyone is always invited to any and all of the scca-lol events. its fun and free to watch (and you get a wrist band!) id even be willing to let someone ride with me on a run (also FREE). i know most to all are not into this, but maybe youll change your mind. the course is usually shorter than autoX, so you can see everything. its smaller because we have to start farther apart because of dust messing up the timers

course wasn't as good as the last time. it was really bumpy. one suby lost the front bumper cover (i was waiting for his inter cooler to come off next), 3 tires off rims, and one bent rim.. i kept my tires on. missed a gate on the first run.... here's a vid, it was my last one of the day. the turns don't look smooth because my cam has that anti shake bs so it was trying to stay with multiple things

oh, and i was 4th in class. damnit, they had some cool cone trophies too
