So i have taken my cavalier to three different shops and each time the suspension has been replaced. And guess what? It is back at a new shop right now getting new struts and plates put in again. Any ideas on what might be causing the suspension to keep going out like this? I can t go after the shop for lemon law because it is a private warranty instead of a manufacturers warranty which really sucks.

How much do you spend on beaters every month? Lets say you spend $100-150. Take that money and add it up and figure a loan on a good car will get you around $5000 %15 APR for four years will land you under $150 a month......
Like here a nice dependable car.

I totally agree. Ford Taurus' are one of the most bullet-proof cars out there. They last longer than Ponticraps, but stay nicer and are more comfortable.
