I was looking at some forums on Focus Fanatic, and I ran across this. It is pretty interesting if you read the whole thing.

Not to be a dick, but, if your like me, your a car guy that knows how motors work and you snicker when you see posts like this...or posts that inquire about these ebay performance mods.
There are good deals to be had out there, you have to know what your after and not want an alternative

i dont know man, ive bought a lot of crap from the bay. the only thing that was junk was the PROFORMANCE chip that i got" our chip is the real thing it dont fool your computer into thinking its colder out. instructions wire module into the air intake temp sensor,, ( make a smashing sound) soo i crushed it with a big , big, hammer,, alot.. of corse thats after i hooked it up ... stupid , stupid. but there are good deals on the bay fer shizy

i got h and r coilovers on ebay, i got them for $700, and i didnt get all the parts. so i am never going to buy anything that is alot of $ off of ebay ever again!!!

i bought alot of stuff from ebay for my old integra... only brand name stuff, not some knock offs.... i also check out background and feedbacks on the sellers before i bid or buy... i have not had any probs wit the bay, hopefully knock on wood.....

yeah the only thing i get now are new stuff, i got my BOV and by boost controller and had no probs. with that

Yeah, I totally agree that if you do your homework on eBay, you can save a lot. Just be carful and you won't get screwed.
