Hey all, due to the pending arrival of child number three I find myself in the position of needing a minivan.

The wifes car must go, The SVT must stay :D

The car is an Autumn orange 2000 ZX3, we special ordered the car new so it is a one owner car with 61,000 miles.

It has every option except, smokers package and sunroof. It has never been smoked in and has never been in a significant accident, It's actually never seen the inside of a bodyshop

The car is stone stock, no mods except a set of '01 six spoke 16" wheels.

Oil has been changed every 3000 miles, coolant flushed this fall, new thermostat, new spark plugs, new front brakes last summer, A/C had a couple o-rings replaced and the system recharged last summer.

All recalls have been performed including front springs at which point it also got new front struts.

The car is not perfect, it does have a dent in the corner of the right quarter about the size of a paperback book and it has it's share of door dings and nicks.

It runs and drives perfectly and it could be a great daily driver or a perfect car to start modding because it is 100% unmolested so you know where you are starting.

The dent is visible in this pic.

The details of the car,

2000 ZX3 autumn orange with dark charcoal interior.
2.0 Zetec
MTX
in dash single disc player
A/C
power windows and locks
cruise control
power mirrors
tilt and telescopic column
intermittent wipers (not variable speed)
fog lights
2001 16" six spokes with Republic 205-50-16's with decent tread remaining
front seat side airbags

I am asking $4200.00 but I am open to offers. I have not shopped the used Focus market much but KBB puts the car in this range in this condition and after a little internet searching it seems about right.

I can print the entire warranty history for anyone who is interested in the car.

Damn, if this was late summer/fall, I would pick it up, but I can't now.

Where were you on Thursday? One of the guys here at work just picked up a car for his daughter. This would have been a much sweeter ride.

he doens't need a minivan, he needs a vasecotmy. I have 1 kid and that is enough, and he's 10 so i don't even have to change any diapers.

Hmmm, where to begin?

1. No HID's, it's a stock 2000 ZX3

2.Thursday, I was at Tousley Ford all day pushing parts and cursing the luck that brought me to this career path :(

3. A Focus wagon is really no different than a ZX3 when it comes to seating space

4. Minivans are gross, Yes they are. Thats why the wifes car is going Bye-Bye and the SVT stays.

5. We would love a Mazda 5 or a Ford Freestyle because they have third row seating but then we come to the issue of funds again.

6. Did we really need to go into the whole "Vasectomy" thing? Ouchie

7. Congratulations on having your 10 year old potty trained, you must be very proud. :P

8. Has anyone else noticed that parts guys tend to be a bit sarcastic?

The parts guy at my dealership acts like he don't know what the parts are(or maybe he isn't acting?)

I'd like to get a vestomoy, but, I hear they turn away the young people who want to be fixed, so, instead, the young people have more kids...

See what you get for going to your local guy? I bet it's not an act. Sad but true.

He reminds me of an old black lab, slow moving, and, slow thinking. I don't have very many nice things to say about the local dealership. Prob one of the reasons I went to White Bear mercury to find my car, well worth the trip, the sales man sold me what I wanted, not what he wanted to sell, and, he gave no lip when I took the car for a spin.
