Re: Those damn little clips on the fuel filter.......
Clip was white and a touch bigger than the fuel ones. I had the kit with a 5/16 and 3/8 clips and neither was big enough. The zip tie seems to be doing just fine holding it in place too.

Re: 95 GMC Jimmy issue
Well we think its the TPS. Hooked up a meter, should start at .5 volts and go to 5 volts. If you go a touch past 4.5 volts the circuit goes open (O.L) I just got a new TPS, will be putting in this weekend. Ill be pulling the IAC and giving it a once over as well. Have had the intake off already befo...

95 GMC Jimmy issue
OK, I have been reading here for a bit of the trouble some focus's are having as far as killing when coming into a slow idle or stop, then finding it difficult to start again. My sons Jimmy does this, but it also will stammer like your coming to a stop without putting the clutch in. It does it only ...

Re: Those damn little clips on the fuel filter.......
The consensus I have had from a couple of other ford techs as well. If the CE light comes on, Ill address it then. Not sure as to why the document on myfordfocus.com says to remove this line anyway, dosen't get in the way of removing the fuel filter at all. http://www.myfordfocus.com/how-to/fuelfilt...

Re: Those damn little clips on the fuel filter.......
not enough room for 2 in the holder, or i would have added the second. no leaks no lights. the evaporative emission pipe seems to be more like a vent or vacuum line from what i can tell.

Re: Those damn little clips on the fuel filter.......
So, seeing as thats that, will my nordic fix do the trick on that or should I replace that line, and how difficult is this going to be?

Those damn little clips on the fuel filter.......
Changed my fuel filter this weekend. Need to know the size of the clip on the evaporative emission pipe. Mine broke and I checked NAPA and O'Rielly locally, and they said Ford only had 2 sizes of clips. Well nether fit the evaporative emission pipe, so I had to use a Zip tie on it. Seemed to be the ...

Re: Tire purchase assistance
How many turns did you get from the falkens? Look to have a good rep, other than wear issues and inflation points. Looks like the discount tires stock them and install them in a few locals around town. May just have to give them a call. So would you say these are better than the Yokohama avid trz? P...

Re: Tire purchase assistance
Thanks for the grammar check....... OK, looked at the UHPs and seem to get great ratings for the hi-perf group. Im looking for an ALL season tire, and Im not planning on switching my rims. Looked like all they had were 55 class and wider. Mine are the stock steel rims. Was wondering of the Altimax H...

Tire purchase assistance
I have a bone stock 05 ZX3 SE, have 52k on it and the stock GYs are getting close to the wear bars, plus seem to be getting louder as the days pass. I have a 80 mile a day drive, mostly freeway. Its a daily driver, grocery getter. Also living in Minnesota, have those wonderful winters to drive throu...
