Mine is way to fucking loud. I'm taking if off the whole exhaust system, and hopefully replacing it with something alittle better, and quieter. If you have aftermarket headers, and exhaust, you need a really big resonater underneather, or the car does get loud under hard accelleration.

You have a supercharger also. Try a larger or second muffler, or, install a non-high flow cat.

I had one, I'd do it again, but would prob go for the SVT jobbie.

The car was that fucking loud before the blower. It really did'nt change in tone after the supercharger.

when I bought the Alien Focus, it has the FS long tube header, 2.5" FS flex, Then it has the 2.5" SVT/Borla Center exit exaust, but its also mated with a 18" FS stealth resenator and it sounds good, not too loud at all, but loud enough to sound good.

I run a glasspack in place of the resonator, Flowmater Delta 40 muffler and the piping and "can" I got with the SHM exhaust. Header is the FC 1 3/4 version and the FC 2.5" flex pipe. I think I am still loud, but still under the 109db exhaust law.

it all depends on the primary size. a larger prime tube header will not pop corn as much as a small prime tube header. the length also contibutes to the sound and volume. my last set up wich consisted of a 4 into 1 long tube header, a 2 1/2 inch flex joint, a 2 1/4 magna flow cat back , was loud as hell but had a nice well tuned note to it, i was gonna run a resinator but got the rollover insted. with a good resinator a header should sound good just stay away from any header that has pimearies smaller than1 3/8 in( mine were about 1 5/8 inch)( the svt has like 1 3/8 i beleve)
