by the looks of the pics on the car domain site, its on the down low, If he had an 05 or newer, he would have a splash guard there

Just toss the cone on the end of the maf with the stock intake tube. Don't waste your money on another intake. It's plenty cold enough here for that set up to work just fine and dandy....as far as the egr tube coming off the intake,you can pick up one of those fast and furious tiny little filters(cheapo) at Auto Zoom to stick on the end of it.D-Money wrote: im thinking about buying a k&n short ram

Run to home depot. Get a 12" x 12" peice of plexi glass. Carefully drill a few holes and use zip ties to attach it to the car and position it so that the main brunt of splashed will avoid the intake.
