Hello,

I just bought a used SVT guage and would like to know if anyone has done the install before?

Where could I get the miles adjusted?

From what I read I need some sort of converter?

Its not going to work easily.

Wait 'til focinite chips in.

If anything just buy white faced guages.

IIRC you can swap your gauge circuit board onto the svt guages and not have to change much but have a new look :D

I looked at getting the svt guages and that is what I read on a forum once or twice

got this off another forum

"Problem is resolved. My friend and I discovered that one can simply replace the green "motherboard"

Thats not so bad then if its just swap a board, I am guessing the needles need to be pulled to remove the board?

I know my brother replaced the digi dash in his bird with the analog cluster from my 89 stupid coupe and it was some work, resistors needed to be changed, his coolant guage doesn't work but everything else does.

Check fordcds.com and get the wiring diagrams from there.

doing the swap is easy if you swap odometers with your existing one like said above. just get an inverter if you don't have one already. i have this setup in mine if you have any ?s. and i just swapped teh gauges, not the whole engine, like focinite.

Did you just get the main cluster or did you get the oil temp/pressure also?

As far as I know you can not get the mileage set on that cluster, If swapping circuit boards works then you are in great shape.

The company that programs rebuilt clusters for repair/resale will not program a cluster that they are not selling, I have checked into that before.

It's just the cluster. Hopefully the board swap will work otherwise I can sell it lol.

I will send you a message skhighlighn when I get the part.
