2007 Gauge Swap

2007 Focus ZX3 S model does not offer a dash bezel with a tach.
There are other models that come with a dash bezel with a tach.
Is that a plug and play thing, or no? Could I tear apart the
interior and swap the bezels and have myself a base-line focus
with a tach? Im not about to buy a new car without a tach;
seems pretty lame IMO. And I also dont want an aftermarket
tach either.

you have to get the new cluster coded for your car and its not cheap, check the other posts by searching, its better to buy one with a tach, plus I have an SES and the better suspension and other upgrades are well worth the extra money.

i have one from an o1 zx3 and i'm in menomonie, wi. i'll sell it to you for cheap since i swapped svt gauges into mine. pm me if interested.

I attempted to send this to you as a PM, but am not sure it sent through.

Im not sure the 00-04 set is interchangable with the 05-07 sets.
Do you know for sure? And if it will swap, do you have pics?

It won't work in an '07, they are a different design cluster. The '04 and earlier were 100% plug and play but the '05 and up are not. See below.

I can do a new cluster with tach for around $238.00, It will have the mileage programmed but the cluster does have a vehicle specific program that has to be downloaded from the old cluster and uploaded to the new one and as far as I know only a dealer can do that.
