I am looking at getting new skins for the Focus and I want some opinions.
lets start with the Baseline, I am looking for a performance 17" tire with good dry and wet traction, I want to be safe on those rainy days.
LMK what you think price is not really a question right now, I just want the Best
What tires to get.

I'd recomend the newer Kumho ECSTA AST. Good dry grip and close to excelent wet grip. I just put a set on my stock rims early in the fall and were great in the rain and arn't to shaby in the snow. And they ride great not to soft but not hard as a rock were you can feel ever tiny crack in the road. http://www.kumhousa.com/Products/PtnDet ... =PtnDetail
A friend put the ECSTA ASX on his WRX and has been happy with the grip while dry. Said they have decent wet traction and suck monkey balls in the winter. http://www.kumhousa.com/Products/PtnDet ... =PtnDetail

I've heard the new AST were pretty decent.
I like my Kuhmo MXs and BFG KDW2s. The BFGs are awesome in the wet. Thats why I decided to get another set.

Here's a hidden gem...Hankook V4es H105's...I just ordered some for my Optima. 1010tires has reviews. Edgeracing sells them online as well as tireseasy.com. Little known tire due to lack of marketing. Pricing is very good.
