Anyone know a place locally that sells wheel spacers for the Focus?

Yeah, those are way to fucking expensive. 200$+ to push a set of rims out half an inch is retarded! H&R might make good products, but their wheels spacers are a fucking joke. End message.

you must have something aginst yer wheel bearings.....what they do to piss you off like that??? id recog the svt knuckles( they are beefy) to handle the added stress of any thing over 1/4 inch. think about it, how much stress is on them right now,now add a half inch, picture in yer mind how the forces are working. you do what you want, i know yer perrty s-m-a-r-t. but remember for every action there is a eaqule and expensive reaction.

Thats fucked up then. The rims your looking at buying have more of an offset on them, then when I get my rims done with the spacers. So, I guess, you need to use your own advice?

i know thats why im having a hard time figure.....wait no uh the off set on them rims is only shy of a 1/4 inch off stock.... and im not ragging on you im trying to save the hassle of pressing wheel bearings, id hate to see anything happen to that awsome car of yours and have it see unness down time........dont yell at me!!!!!!!!!! yer not the boss of me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The rims I'm offsetting have a 51mm offset. I just want to offset them 5mm in front, and 8 in the rear. So, I won't be offset too much.

I ran a 42mm offset rim last summer, so you'll be find.

you should be fine with that but after a summer of bummpy roads you may see some funck tyre wear. id check em every oil change to see if they are gettin wiggly. the focus wheel bearing is strong but its small.. id hate to see you get hurt cus a wheel fell off for a little meaner look.....ya know

I pretty much rotated my rims last summer like once a week, and I don't have any uneven tread wear, and bearings are still awesome. Alot of people run 42mm offset rims on their Focus on FJ, and I have'nt heard of a single problem yet.

My new rims for Chromie are 45mm. I want the spacers for the Kona.

Both sets of my ford racing tuners are 42mm offset and have never had a problem. 5-8mm is nothing you shouldn't have a problem.

i worrie alot ....i see so many bad things being in the auto buisness. im sure the off sets are fine....remember i came from the era of the moon buggie stance and the extreame off sets would tear wheels and hubs right out of the knuckes and pop ball joints and cuse all hell to break loose. i do care and i do worrie.
