Toying with grill Ideas, which will probably include cutting out all the horizontal and vertical bars from the lower grill area giving the front end a "big mouth" appearance. I have been looking at mesh, Billet, and expanded metal as well as machining my own from aluminum just don't know if I want to do all the reverse engineering of the grill perimeter and mounting surfaces at this time. What ever it is it has to look good and not ricey. Below is a photochopped Vertical Billet that I haven't found yet but could make, of course it would be going on my IR ZX3. What do you think of the vertical billet?

Comments?

Looks like a lincoln front end. Not at home on a Focus.

If I were you, paint the housing of the grille, and get black center section. You'll be ready to rock.

Okay so this is what I am going to do with my front end for now.
It's a combination of ST grill outer trim ring in Black with the stock Black insert. I still have the chrome stock trim ring which has now had a glass bead treatment and is a matte finish and the silver insert that came with the ST grill. I plan on painting both of those pcs Red and then trying the 4 different possible color combinations. Sorry no Lincoln Billet grille. :( I think a little niteshade on the Blue oval up front is in order to make it blend in a bit. ( :o I need to put the Radiator cover back in, forgot to do that, things will be darker no Red showing through the grill. :o )

Yup, they look good in person. I agree with Kyle, red grill with black insert. It doesn't look bad as it is now tho..
