I'm gonna put the Zetec (from a Zx2) motor I've had laying around to good use. I picked up a 92 Escort Sedan 5 speed with a craked head. The car is a little beat up, but should make a nice rat ride. The 2nd gen Escort's, even 4 door's with A/C and P/S are about 150lbs lighter then a Zx2, and a Zx2 is lighter than a Zx3 so this car should scoot pretty good. I'm gonna try somthing no one has tried before, I'm gonna use the 1.9 SOHC tranny and computer. I have allready relocated the crank sensor, picked up a early Zetec Contour return fuel rail, and I'll use a Zx2 MAF with 19lb injectors. I have a Spec Stage 1 clutch kit on the way, it has a organic disc and high clamp pressure plate. I'll need that when I turbo it. I have a T3 that needs to go to work also, I'll rig up the OEM Zetec Focus manifold for that. Since it will have a return fuel line it will be easy to turbo. I can just throw on a FMU (dont worry I'll keep the boost with in reason) I've had one of those sitting around to...
Sound like fun or what?

Not yet. It's gonna take one more trip to the junk yard for the A/C compressor bracket, Zetec radiator for the special heater core plumming, a battery, belt and I have to finesh the wiring harness. I just need to find time.

Right now I'm just worried about getting it to run and drive down the road. It need's tie rod end's and some other work, need's a little body work to.
I dont think I'll get around to boosting it untill later on this summer. I really need to think about selling it since I dont have room for 5 car's.
