Sorry,
Just trying to wire in an additional power outlet so I can run my GPS and not take up the one on the dash. I was tapping into the fuse for the fog lights as they are only on with the car. Something went ZAP! and the car is dead.

The radio, lights, horn, etc work. But I can't get it to turn over. I will turn the key and nothing. Not even a clicking sound. Did I blow up the starter relay? Any, and I mean ANY help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Tim

First I would start by checking ALL of your fuses. Under the hood and in the passenger compartment.

On my car when I've screwed up the PATS it will flash at you like its pissed... So if that light is flashing irregularly that might be something to look into.

Haven't done the fuses under the hood, yet. Going out there right now.

My car doesn't flash ANYTHING at me, so it is so pissed at me it is just giving me the silent treatment.

Will be back soon.

Power windows DO NOT work, even if I have the key in the ACC position. In addition to those, there are no "tones" when I open my door and have the key in the ignition. The car "beeps" if I turn the lights "on" and pull my keys out, but not when I have my keys in and the door open.

HELP?

Well its not pats. I think it still turns over when the pats doesnt work. Did you try just disconnecting the battery for a while, and resetting the ecu?

Try to reset your computer also, by unhooking your battery for a while.

And disconnect whatever you connected, may be pulling something to ground that is not intended to be grounded.
Slower than your stock focus.
