you know I am just giving you shit for prefering the little zx3 brakes over the SVT brakes
you know i talked to a cutomer of mine who is a scca guy, he says that in the foci a good set of pads and rotor, wiff a good set of shoes in the back is all i need, he said his exper. is that the svt brakes lock the rears to easy, even with the abs. so i am lookin into some ebc and street hawk stuff, who knows this guy maybe right.

Roger that... I know the first time I ever took them down I pretty much took the entire caliper apart to figure out how the heck they worked but once I got it all apart I figured it out
tell me, back in the day when i knew nothing about cars, i had to do a brake job on a contour and those basterd brakes, one was froze and the lead tech knew it, he wanted a laugh so he wathed me for an hour before he told me it was froze...long story short, all my skin on my knuckels were gone, i had cuts and brusies. just wait till that lower rad hose goes out on you, have fun with that one.

Maybe for an autocross but not if you're carrying any real speed, The stock Focus drums are the next thing to useless.

We could try running through OPUS sometime and see who runs out of brakes, The cars could have equal power and handling but if you can't slow down you lose.

hells yeah but you cant use your knowlage, youll haff to have a beer or 4 to even it up some...ha ha ha J/k. id like to do some thing, but im gona go with what he said, he used to run a miada now runs a advanced group s2k, he has some friends that run a mazda 3 and two foci, one is starting in the spec focus group, he said he dont like the svt rears ( he did a swap with the brakes...had abs, got rid of it) they lock up the first half and at the last half they fade, he was thinking of down sizing to the regular rear disk setup. i dont know but i do agree, the drums are to keep the car striaght and thats it, im still on the factory shoes( 02, the ones that came wiff da car!!!!!). i do like the BAT INC big brake kit, for 600 bucks you cant beat it, gonna need rears though. but win lose who cares! ill run ya, id rather lose to some one better than me , than puss out and not try at all!!!
