i have a 2005 ST and i have a good deal on a 2002 svt. the svt is 11,000 and only has 11,000 miles on it, the owner is an old guy that has is moving to his place of retirement and needs to let it go, my ST has 51,000 miles on it. it will be hard to let my car go, and im looking for some opinions on what people think, should i move into the SVT or stick with my ST?

i personally would stick with ST. It's only 2 years old car vs its already 5 years on the SVT. also duratec offers better potential then Zetec.

I agree 100% even though I do like the SVTs. Depends what you want I guess, but I even prefer the look of the sedan myself 8)

I like them both, but I think the ST is a little more rare, so I go with the ST. Plus, it's only 2 years old.
Let's go boating.

ya i love it too, its hard to part with, but my little bro will be driving soon so i think i might keep the st in the family but go with the svt, granted it is older, but it has 40,000 miles less, and as far as potential, i want a little bit of performance but im not looking for all out racecar here, in fact i almost see myself modding the SVt before the ST. and the ST has been my problem car too, we have 7 vehicles and i have had more probs with that ST then any of the other vehicles combined! basically everything on that car has been replaced other then getting a brand new engine (which hasnt been needed yet, knock on wood)

lol and a side note, the royal blue svt goes well with the royal blue GT stang we have!
