I just don't like the white wall/ hub cap look. Its just does'nt work on euro cars IMO. Even tho that is a big fad over there. I just don't like it. I did'nt like it in Back to the Future 3 either when they put white walls on the Delorean. Just ugly.

This car will only ever get black tires.

I could go for some red sidewall slicks myself.

I like the wheels...but I don't like colored sidewalls. And not enough stretch.

If you can get red sidewalls, and stretch the shit out of them, then I'll make my decision, but untill then, black walls only. (Unless its the new redline tires, those aren't bad)

This is o6 and I can't get on this site at work anymore. I found my notes on the Washington trip and thought that I'd better post the figures before I lost them again. We drove 3844 miles -26 hours out-8 hour lay over in Washington (we only sept 4 hours of it)-27 hours back (1 extra hour for lossey traffic in Minnesota)-24.5 to 26 mpg going out (horrible mileage-WHY?-4 adults in the car-4 extra wheels and tires in the car-tools-extra gas-floor jack-video players-AND NICKS FOOD STASH- OVER 1165 extra pounds of STUFF!!! this wasn't the weight of Nicks food !!! )- never knew Ford rated the Focus at half ton + capacity. Now pushed it down the highway at 80 -85 mph on trip out - that accounts for the crappy mileage out. Coming back with the load split up -doing 85 to 95 mph ( How do you spell American Autobahn-Montanna thankyou ) we got 32.4 to35 mpg!!! The 2.0 Zetech only really beat the 2.3 Duratech one time on mileage other wise they were very evenly matched. Oh and did I tell you that Nick can sleep with his eyes open and that he can't be left to drive at night because he just goes out cold !!! And he tells you this just before it's his turn to drive --AT NITE !!!!AAHHHHHHHHHH Hows' that go about wanting to die in your sleep like your dad-NOT screaming like the people riding in his car that he's driving. ---All in all Good trip-Good time with Great people -Thanks Nils & Nick-I'd do it again with these guys only more sleep. Thanks o6-Dad-Bob
