ok as some of u know, i had a CAI that fell apart on me.... so i still had the top piece of the elbow left... i decided to tinker around wit it along wit some of the left over pipes steve gave me awhile back.... the outcome is DAMN!!!! i F'N shoulda done this during the summmer!!! it's waaay better than the cai that fell apart... the old one was stuck up in front of the driver side wheel behind the left fog light..... well this one is shorter and well it's right in front of the lower grill where air can actually flow right at it while driving...... sorry for just a long ass story....

WHAT'S THAT THERE?

well this one is the longer and straighter unfinished version.. it didnt have enough angle on it so i cut it up so i can get a shorter version that stops right in front of the grill.....

Thanks Pappy, I never thought about the bypass Valve or really never understood what it did I'm still new to all the Sport compact even though I have been watching and keeping track of it for years. I definatly will invest in a bypass if I get a CAI.
