So anyway, I just got a smoking deal on a screamin demon coil and a set of Brisk plugs (fairly new company). And since the coil won't accept the regular FRPP wires I sold myself that last set of blue FRPP ZX2 wires that no one wanted last month  when things fall into place they really fall into place.

These are the plugs I got http://www.briskusa.com/products.htm#premium

Slapped them in tonight and although it's hard to say for sure it seems a little better, The plugs looked really cool and from what I understand the Cobra guys have been going nuts over them.

I normally don't go for gimmick stuff and had never intended on trying the screaming demon coil or any plugs other than stock so we'll see if I'm impressed after a little more driving.

I also got my Predator back along with the PC interface cable and powercord so I can update the tuner and load up my fresh custom tune 8)

This may call for another trip to the dyno. :D

Unfortunately I won't get it to the dyno again until after the tune is in as well so there won't be any telling what gave a particluar gain, It'll still be fun though.

The car does feel more responsive now, I don't think it's my imagination either but I need to drive it a bit more to really decide.

Could it also be the colder weather we've had? The wagon has gotten quicker, but I have not done anything to it...

Dunno, but that could be a big difference as well.

I doubt it, although it does run better in colder weather it also seemed to clear up a couple minor driveability issues I was having after cold starts.

Like I said, we'll see after I drive it a few more days to see if it's really different of just me.

I thought you had said that you heard bad things about the screamin demon coil pack? When matt was talking about it at your house you said you heard they went out a lot. Did you learn otherwise, or just taking the chance?

Like I said, I got a really good deal on it so I figured I'd give it a shot. We'll see how it goes.

I had not heard great things about them but now I get to have first hand experience.

You'd need four. You've got a better ignition system than us Zetec guys.
