ive heard a few on here and other boards say that they dont help much on the street. im not sure if the hatches are stiffer or what but on my st it made a huge difference. i noticed it as soon as i pulled out the front end is much stiffer over bumps it feels more solid and in corners it made a big difference also. im not trying to stir the pot but i think it is well worth the cash and ill be getting the rear soon also.

i agree, i have zx3, and i have a front strut, rear strut, and rear sway. i put them all on at different points, and each time i could tell a def. improvement in body roll around corners and whatnot. The rear sway was the most effective and the front strut was also nice. The rear strut gave a slight improvement but not as much. All of them are worth the money i'd say.

i could see how a front bar would be good because the strut tops have to take lateral loads, but the way the rear subframe is setup, the tops of the shocks don't see any lateral forces, and would be useless to stiffen

so logically
front bar: yes
rear bar: no
