I never had an interest in tuning it myself really. There are too many things that I'm not experienced with. And I'd rather just leave it to the professionals
DB could probably make you a tune but it's only good for one car per XCal
XCal2/3 is way better than a basic Chip though, at least for my application.

I don't think I'd be tuning the wife's car at all anyway. At least until we get her that turbo she wants...
I just wanted to be able to learn some stuff on the tuning side of things, but I don't think that's worth another $400 to me right now. When it comes time, I'll probably either get a TwEECer RT or a megasquirt for the XR and just dive in. At least that's not a daily driver and I don't need to worry about it that much.
