Either I'm crazy or lucky, I'll never know for sure. But I took the plunge anyway. So, I just bought a 25 year old car!

Now, I just have to pay for it :lol:

My first new car is back in the stable. One 1982 Brown Metallic Toyota Celica ST. Practically mint. 43K miles :shock: 5spd, RWD....The engine is the indestructable 22R. There's no lack of aftermarket support for this lump. Immediate plans are to find a set of GT-S wheels and fender flares.

It was a democratic household vote, with my daughter and me as the "Y" votes. My wife couldn't say no. Take a look.
Oh yeah, now I really have to sell my Focus stuff. :lol:

I actually laughed read I read the title of this thread. Damn, you didn't tell us how good of a condition its in... I think. I woulda voted Y too. Congrats!

Yeah, this thing is sick clean. It still has it's first set of replacement tires from 1988 :lol: Not much to do for restoration.
