is it possible ?
So I was wondering I think that its possible will the mtx-75 hook up to a SVT engine and if it does do you think it would help the gearing for it at all .. But anyways the reason I ask is I really want to add a Supercharger or Turbo kit to my car but I think I might just get a used zetec "non svt" and then just do all the engine work to that and get a mtx-75 for the gearing ..... anyways dreams....

Yea you can swap an mtx75 on an svt. Not to much work. Just unbolt the SVt tranny, change some sensors, then bolt on the mtx75. And yes, the gearing is much better.

dont forget the clutch and flywheel are different
I would stick with the SVT motor itself though, since they are a little nicer from the factory.

A stock SVT engine is good up to around 350 whp so unless you plan on going past that theres no reason to use a different engine.
The SVT engine also has the extra goodies like piston cooling jets that standard Zetecs don't have. Plus the stock SVT head flows better than a Zetec head.

Depends on how bad he wants to blow it up. I have seen issues with Powerworks blowers in cold climates like ours on SVT's.zurno wrote:get a powerworks
If you want a decent gain and dependability the JRSC is a good choice, not the most power but probably the most dependable.
