I'm hanging out with the GF on my spring break up here in St Paul and noticed this today. I've never seen a jump like this. Hmm, well, I'll have to do less driving around and spend some time mounting the Mach 1 lip I just bought from Steve. The lip seems cheap now that it's about the same price as a tank of gas!
Gas just went up 17 cents in ONE DAY???????

Isn't it great having the opportunity to give your hard earned money to the big gas companies so they can recored record profits and line their CEO's pockets all the while claiming that it's not their fault that the prices jump around like PeeWee Herman on crystal meth?

It's Sa's fault. Channel 11 has done two reports on it. They dictate the prices, and the spikes. Others just follow. In markets without SA, the price fluctuates along the same curve, without the spikes. SA refuses comment of course.
I feel a little bad for the gas stations themselves, they take the heat for what is dealt them. Most only make 10-15 cents gross profit per gallon. That is not much. In the meantime, the producers of the stuff are raping someone, but not as much lately. Remember when gas first hit $3 a couple years back? Oil was in the $70 per barrel range. Now, with oil around $105, it's still around $3, (at least until yesterday but it will probably trickle down a little again.) So somewhere in the middle, someones making a little less. Yay.

I dont understand how gas can fluctuate so much in a single day. It's complete BS.
We should at least have the same price for an entire day. It's not stocks, it's a barrel of damn gas.
